About

Hi there. I’m Frank and I’m passionate about working with technology, whether that be in industry or academia. This site began as a place to put the blog posts that I wrote during my PhD. I finished the doctorate in 2015 and now I am back working in industry – although I do still teach the occasional module (on themes relating to archaeology, technology, data and visualisation) for the Digital Humanities and Culture MPhil in Trinity College Dublin. And before all of that I worked for and was one of the majority shareholders in the Klas Group. In the last couple of months, I have started a new venture called WoollyGerbil Studios, which is all about creating captivating digital experiences for web, mobile and mixed reality. I’m very excited about the potential of WoollyGerbil Studios and it brings me back to building products, which is where it all began for me and for which I feel I have most to offer. Please feel free to get in touch if you would like to discuss anything further.

All the best,

Frank
