On the evening of Friday 27 September Trinity College Dublin and the Royal Irish Academy are holding a series of events highlighting the role that higher-level research plays in our societies. Presentations will take place across the university campus and in the headquarters of the RIA on Dawson St.

kindAReal, an iPhone app that I developed a while back, will be demonstrated by myself and some very fortunate friends on the night. Come along to our stand on the ground floor of the Long Room Hub building in the Trinity campus from 4 till 11pm. We will be discussing the technology and philosophy of Augmented Reality and the role that academics have to play in the development of the information technology sector. Bring along the kids to learn about the fun side of mobile technology and join one of the many AR-enabled tours of the campus.

We hope to see you there.
